The cap does well allowing you to spray latex (I thinned it about 10%) primer but you will go through a lot of paint fairly quick. You will need to ventilate the “mist” that is produced by the spray equipment.
Knowing what I know now, probably wouldn’t do it again because of constantly having to reload the cup and having to deal with the misty overspray inside of a house. But still, the cap works as expected.
