If you received a “job offer” via an unsolicited e-mail message from a company to which you never sent a CV or application then you need to check with your country’s diplomatic mission in Nigeria BEFORE doing anything else. Certainly do not send them money for a “work visa” or other administrative costs without verifying the offer:

Man I’m telling here and now.
The place is Hell on earth.
Multiply everything you heard by ten.
I spent 3 months there. For work.

The most expensive Hotel had no hot water most of the time.
    No air con.
Hotel guest were told not to leave the Hotel grounds after dark.
One did, found his throat cut in the moning.

If you go, bring cash to make sure you can pay off every crooked cop that pulls you over.

Good luck, and hope you have good insurance.

    Cheers from DOWNUNDER

if your asked to pay for a visa or paper processing then you are scammed and there is no job, watch out for fake nigerian job scams over the internet, they are all false
call the nigerian embassy before you do anything to make sure its a real company and get their actual phone number to call and confirm the offer is for real
