This isn’t the fault of the product but I’m a new homeowner (and a girl that spent decades living in apartments - hello maintenance men!!) so I’m slowly building up a decent tool set. This product totally works and is very solid but in my ignorant mind it wasn’t what I was looking for. I wanted something that could cut through zip-ties and other fastening devices. This isn’t quite it. I’ll keep it around for when I master home maintenance and I want to re-wire the house, alone, by myself. Shudder the thought.

I really like these cutter/strip/crimpers. They seem like good build quality, no over-laping when cutting or crimping they cut & strip great. crimpers work good i am just used to my last pair that had the crimpers @ the end, it is a personal preference i have & i know many don’t like crimps @ the end but if i am trying to crimp in a tight spot it can be hard to get these in there! That is why i gave 4 stars not 5! Definite buy again!

I needed to replace my old worn out tool, I looked for the same tool under the “old brand name” and I couldn’t find it, so I was happy to find this design again under irwin industrial tools. This is one of those tools that after many years of using it you just can’t do without it, well made and well designed.
