These websites have the most complete info, but they are adding new items to the recall all the time. To be safe, read the ingredients and do not use ANY foods or treats that list “wheat gluten” as an ingredient.

I wouldn’t feed my dog anything at all that is within the brand label name of any recalled food that has wheat or wheat gluten in it! At least, not until the exact cause of what is killing pets is officially identified and all possible pet foods are tested and cleared. Every day the list grows. Today Stater Bros. biscuits, Ol’Roy Biscuits and Sunshine Mills biscuits were recalled. before they were recalled, the sites said the other foods were safe. The Nutro site said their food was safe besides their first recall list and now the list is expanded to include other lots of food. They say what the store sells is safe. Well, that is because it hasn’t been recalled YET. As the list grows the stores pull the foods but before they are pulled they were ON THE SHELVES and being sold. That did not make them “SAFE”.
Nuff said. No wheat or wheat gluten product in any treats or foods for my dogs. And none of the identified brands either until this is definitively cleared up.

If it contains wheat gluten, don’t give it to your dog. Doesn’t matter if it’s canned, dry or treats, the wheat gluten is the problem, it contains poison, and it’s killing pets. No sense in taking a chance when there are good foods out there that don’t contain wheat gluten.

God I hope not I feed both my indoor pups the puppy biscuits from Eukanuba. I just checked the sites and there are no biscuits being recalled (treats) whatever you want to call them.

  7. Kat says:

NO! Eukanuba dry products do not include wheat gluten. Please refer to the Eukanuba website. This is their News page with a statement about the recall.
