Good thing I own shares in Chinese companies
you do realize the democrats in the senate are proposing to add MORE to the “bush borrow and give” right…..
Fairly irrelevant. What you need to watch in the stock price of Chinese investments HERE in US equities, bonds, etc.
If you want a sense of China’s power over us, just watch what happens (and it has happened) if a Chinese official, even a MINOR one, mentions that China might start acquiring Euros rather than dollars as its investment instrument.
US stock market FREAKS OUT at the mention of it.
It’s called cornering the cash market. It is a wonderful thing for China, but really bad for us. When somebody has you in this position you can’t dig your way out. China gets it back double with interest. They lend us the money. We give it back for plastic junk, but they still own the bonds.
Disparage WalMart? Why, the founder of such a corporation gave many million to the Republican cause to keep corporate welfare flowing. Is it no accident you MUST use a car to shop at Walmart to bring home a crate of one Chinese product?
It’s sad there ain’t no patriotism in the Bush years.
