Because people from developing countries are paid lower than their supposed to.
They don’t have the proper education, and knowledge access anyway.
So, the low standard of living is just their way to survive.
Industrial market economies are better organized and more efficient in educating and training their workers, instilling the work ethic in them, and providing opportunities for them to produce a lot of stuff and services.
A lot of poor people in third world countries live in rural villages where they do relatively unskilled work for a few months during the year. And the rest of the time they are either unemployed or underemployed.
But nobody pays much attention to their unemployment because unlike in the cities, these poor people usually manage to survive on their own without any help from the government.
Wealth and a high standard of living are the result of production. A nation like the US has all the infrastructure and technology, plus the knowledgeable and motivated workforce, necessary to produce goods at a high rate. Third world nations do not have any of these. What they often have is manual labour, dirt roads and ox-carts. It is like asking why a Ferrari can get you there faster than tricycle…..one is state of the art and built for performance and efficiency, and the other is slow and plodding and primitive.
